                         INSTALLING MK4STRIP

You have just downloaded the mk4strip.zip file from sorcerersoft.com.
You must unzip this file into a folder. I do NOT recommend you do this
in your MK4 game folder, because it will mix up your game's and custom
files. It's best to make a separate folder, for instance, /mk4strip/.

In your MK4 game folder, you will find a file called "filesys.dat".
This file contains ALL the game's 3D models, textures and sound files.
Copy this file into the same folder you unzipped MK4Strip into.

Now run these two files in your MK4Strip folder.
-Begin.bat
-Continue.bat

The folders in your MK4Strip folder are now full of files. /wav/
contains sound files, /raw/ contains compressed files with textures,
models and sounds, and /view/ contains 3D models and textures. The
folder /raw/ is full of .gfx files. These files contain textures. They
are identical to the .bmp files in /view/ with the same filenames.
Edited .bmp files need to be converted back to .gfx before they can be
added to the game.

                        INSTALLING MK4.5K

Unzip the file "mk45kfiles.zip" into your MK4Strip/raw/ folder.
Overwrite ALL files. Now run the file "compile.bat". A new file will
appear in your MK4Strip folder, called "filesys.new". This file is
exactly like the file "filesys.dat", except that it contains all of the
MK4.5K textures.

Copy the file "filesys.new" to your MK4 game folder. Delete or rename
the file "filesys.dat" in your MK4 game folder. Now rename
"filesys.new" to "filesys.dat".

Your copy of MK4 has now been changed into MK4.5K. If you want to go
back to the old textures without reinstalling the game, copy the file
"filesys.dat" from your MK4Strip folder into your MK4 game folder, and
overwrite.

Enjoy!
